I saw it, and yes he was a plonker. Under prepared, completely unaware of what he was taking on (seemed surprised it was hot in the desert  ), and a poor choice of equipment. Thought he'd break the record easily and just made it inside the cut off. Well done as it's a hard old race but the bloke seemed to think he just had to go out for a long ride and that'd be it.

Didn't he have to stop to have his bike serviced after the first 55 miles!

NEck brace was brilliant though

Though it was quite good. I think I have come to the conclusion that Lance did do naughty stuff, but last nights programme made me doubt this.

One thing I did notice though was that when lance was asked directly on camera whether he did use drugs, he provided the usual response (i.e someone with my health background + never been caught + world is full of non believers). However when he started his blurb he quite strangely scratched his hip. I though this was a sign of nervousness.

I'm no expert on body language, but I reckon he was lying through his teeth....

I watched the first five minutes of last night's programme, which even at that stage was looking like a full-hour advertisement for Trek bicycles  .

And it appeared that the 'science' part of the title meant physics rather than chemistry. Was I right?

I bet nobody asked the really important question either: "Now, Lance, about the black socks ..."
