There's no mention of a club criterium or track day, are they on peeps?

Or have I just put my hand up to organise one, or both of these? If I have I can give you the results by tomorrow morning.

Cheers Keith - your encouragement, and that of others is important to me. I've learned this year just what a daggy job this is, and it ain't never gonna win me no popularity contests.

So far no volunteers for the 100 - which is odd as it only takes a few hours on a Sunday morning. The corner we've been asked to do will need cover from some time after 8am until around 11.30...?

I wonder how the folk who get drawn from the hat tonight to marshal this are going to take it.....? The acid test eh wot...

Well - in the end we got all the slots except four filled by volunteering. So, this evening at 8.30 Mrs Snoop did a random draw out of the biscuit tin for the last few. I've contacted the lucky ones.

Next year all those who haven't helped will go straight to the front of the queue. We'll publish the race calendar and give people the usual option to volunteer. There will be a cut off date early season and after that the names will come from the hat, starting with those who didn't contribute this year. That should mean that anyone who kindly offered to help in 2008 won't need to do so again until 2010. A whole year off!!
