He's even more boring than Indurain was

Go Ricco go (where did that come from :?: ).

Well at least he's prepared to have a go.

Valverde needs to get his act together and put CE under pressure, otherwise he'll lose it in the TT.

I reckon Thomas Voeckler's your man then. Did you see the way he bust a gut to hang onto the King of the Mountains jersey - before they'd got anywhere near any mountains?

Big Mig was done down on this count. Granted some of his wins weren't the most exciting of TdFs, but they weren't all boring. Being a quiet chap maybe didn't help his cause.

Recently watched the '91 and '92 TdF DVDs (picked 'em up dirt cheap at the Evans warehouse sale - about the only thing reduced to a proper level) and they weren't boring and neither was the way he rode. He did attack just more of a gradual acceleration than a Valverde sprint away - the cheeky little Chiappucci(one of my faves, and in that fantastic "denim" kit) fulfilling this role some of the time. Comedy moment in the DVD is the first radio used by Lemond. He had a helmet with a "Madonna mike" slung round in front of his face  . Also the biggest tri-bars ever seen, but also the beautiful classic down curved toptube lo-pros.

Never like Evans though as he's a wheel sucker.

For Sale: Coordinating (holes in both) Silence-Lotto shorts and jersey. One careful owner.

Does that mean that he's clean?

Would have been good to see him and Contador going head to head. Ricco looked pretty awesome today...

Just like Cav he mouths off and then delivers the goods!
...
Dont know that he's clean or not as there were some rumors (unfounded) about him working with LAs old preparatore Dr Ferrari but he cant be any dirtier than Valverde!

Am i right to think Ricco has just been thrown out?? Well out here in Oz everyone is VERY EXCITED ozzies being ozzies no one has any doubt about C.E winning. I agree about a lack of charisma. Saw an interview on SBS after he got yellow....." so Cadel what was the most exciting part of the stage today?" Pause....." The Helicopter flight to the Podium"!!
