[quote="huw williams"]It is now - I've booked it, me and you are the first on the list for 2009. Anybody else?

er... i'm thinking about this. i hit 35 next year  and could do with a big event to aim for.

like mike says, a year should be long enough to train... and get over my fear of heights, descents, hot conditions, hard work, commitment and spiders.

so... pencil me in. why not!

Thanks for the encouragement Michelle and Co ! :)

I will probably do La Marmotte again next year, though I haven't decided on doing the whole one week thing - maybe I'm softening up in my old age ! :?
I will confirm my 09 calendar in the Autumn.

in my haste to sign myself up for this undertaking i forgot to show my appreciation of those who've just done it - so well done all!

agreed -- but michelle, having just read CW, you deserve considerable respect for doing the Dauphine Challenge ( I think?) as a warmup...
