Ride of the falling leaves tomorrow anyone doing it?

Anyone doing this tomorrow? I've already paid up so will be doing it unless it snows, planning to start around 9amish, will there be anyone else there from the club?

Sorry Kieran, I have only just read your posting. I went in for this on Sunday. Just missed out on a Gold award. My own fault, I missed the check point at Westerham (one of my senior moments, not as young as I used to be) and only realised some miles further on. Had to turn back to Westerham and lost quite a bit of time, not to mention the extra mileage to cover.

The route was much more hilly than I had expected but at least they cut out the worst bit of Toys Hill.

How did you get on?

hi John, I did it in 4 hours 20 min so also missed gold, I think I didn't eat enough in the first 3 hours and ran out of energy near the end, I crawled up the last few hills in bottom gear (got a triple as well). Seemed worse than last year.
