Helper Needs a Lift

Postby Snoop Doug » Thu Jul 17, 2008 8:49 am

Folks

Jon Avery has kindly offered to assist on the SCCU 100 - :D

He would need a lift to the event. I am going down the night before, I'm not that slow I have a friend who lives on the course near the start  so I can't personally help Jon out. Is anyone able to pick Jon up from GBs on the day...and drop him back later of course?

Offers appreciated

Cheers - Snoop

Depends what my start time is.

I'll be passing that way.

Sorry, wrong direction for me, and my team car looks like being full with my, er, team.

When I helped with this one (before I realised the joys of doing it :? ) I was told to be at Cowfold for 8.30am. Most TTs are over by then. If you wangle a spot towards the back end of the course, you can get up at a sensible time and still ride down. Take a pork pie, watch us all suffering and then ride home in time to watch the Tour.

Sorry Mr P, The voices in my head make me do it.
