Not a lot on TV these days so I'll just video it and watch it in the evening "as live".

 Cheer up, Grandad! I agree, though - why can't they bring back Out Of Town and The Good Old Days?

I have booked tomorrow as "Working at Home".

I plan to get up reasonably early and read a book (I get to call this "research") until coverage starts on either ITV4 or Eurosport.

If coverage hasn't started by 11am, I may be forced to go for a short ride to clear my thoughts.

I find watching hours and hours of live bike racing to be fairly boring, so I'll stick to watching the highlights. ITV4 at 7pm, and if I fall asleep in that one, Eurosport at 9pm.

Why can't people just sit down and read a mind improving book!

Wednesday evening on mainstream = 3 different cooking programmes, The Bill, and some cops and robbers car chase footage sh1t. Anything on satellite gets repeated pretty regularly so not a problem missing it 1st, 2nd, 53rd time round.

I do it to select my own highlights too. The main highlight programmes often cut through to too near the end when a/the break/attacking has been done so it's just the main lot on the last mountain. I'd rather watch the action from earlier climbs and then fast forward to later bits so I just cut out a load of Ned Boulting etc rambling and the flat bits between climbs :D .

http://www.cyclingfans.com and scroll down, the feeds (Eurosport) are on the right hand side. I have no sound card at work and find the German link works best which opens it up in a new Windows Media Player - watching today's stage now :D .

Summer holiday starts today - perfect timing

now how cool is that!

Yeah, I know...bloody teachers, 13 weeks holiday, tch tch grumble grumble

anyway...predictions:

I think Kohl will win the stage

I want Sam Sanchez to win the stage... if not him then Menchov

I don't want Evans to win (why is he so hard to love?? :D )

Vive Le Tour

Fairly high muppet quotient on AdH today. It's getting a bit like the bull run during San Fermines in Pamplona. Still, most of them do seem to be in for severe sunburn.
