SCCU 100 course!!!

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

The postman's just been and guess what he's brought me? No, not a start sheet, but a beautiful new musette :D . I just need to fill it with jelly babies and pork pies and I'm ready to go  .

No Paul, haven't a clue when mine is. Bit shoddy really, I'll call the organiser when I get home if mine isn't on the mat as I need to sort things out with the folks.

Will people be wearing aero helmets for this? The only other 100 I have done I didn't wear a helmet and really can't decide. Don't have any problems with races up to 50 miles, I was just wondering how hot it may be for the last couple of hours if one is finishing just before mid-day.

Metcheck is saying that between 7am and noon it will be between 23 and 28 degrees( 8) /  depending on your point of view)

Normal vented helmet for me, I got hot enough in a pointy radiator in the 50 and that was a much cooler day.
