Good Physios in the Area?

Postby Tony » Tue Aug 05, 2008 10:24 am

Does anyone have a recommended physiotherapist (or maybe even osteopath) with experience of sorting knee troubles?

I've been slightly concerned by a few minor knee twinges recently. In fact any form of physical activity can leave me with a slightly odd sensation in / around one of my knees. I want to self-refer myself to a decent physio / osteopath and get some advice on the root cause and preventative threatment. I don't think this is a serious issue (I hope not anyway) but want to get some advice / treatment to stop it from becoming so! Anyone have any good recommendations? If so, please post or PM me.

I visit an osteopath in Purly every 4 weeks or so for a massage and re-allignment. Can recommend him for this although he's never had to look at my knees specifically. I think it's called the Purley Clinic, on Brighton Road. Guys name is Peter, 020 8763 0071.

Guy's name is Peter Mason. He is fantastic. I can recomend him highly. His Clinic is on the Main road from Purley to Coulsdon, a few hundred yards after the junction at the fire station.
I have used him on and off for many years. He has NEVER failed to sort out my aches and pains. 2 days after a visit, problems have disappeared. :D :D

I would go to a physio, at least in the first instance. I have had good service a Crystal Palace Sports Injury clinic and the guy at Addington Palace is very good for sports injuries. I can add to this if you are around Saturday or want to pm me with your phone number.

cheers

i'd recomend the Crystal Palace lot, they are very good and cheap too - do a good sport massage to.
