The only thing I've seen my Dad riding in a photo is a camel. Early 1950's in Egypt with the RAF.

For the record, my father rode a Freddie Grubb (quick web research reveals they were based in Brixton then Anerley, later sold to Holdworth). No photos though.

My dad used to be in the RAF too, in fact he used to race for there cycling team i think. I don’t think he ever rode a camel and he assures me the rumours about a fat cow are untrue
