What Olympic Sports have you started watching?

I'm kinda getting into the rowing and basketball. I've never really watched either before

Apart from the cycling at the weekend I've only seen the highlights programmes so this week I have been mainly watching swimming.

Actually I only ever see swimming when the Olympics are on but then I tend to see quite a bit of it (it always dominates the games for the first few days) and I find it pretty entertaining. I think it's a bit like track cycling for someone whos sport it isn't, in that there are lots of different types of event and they are all fairly short and fast paced, and there's a quick turnaround.

I love watching all the sports - each has it's own personality and tale to tell - though dominated by (Phelps) the swimming has been good - the judo was fascinating - right to the end in the lead, then losing it with one throw - harsh - and the rowing - and....etc

tennis
volley ball

are the only non-cycling sports i will willingly watch. haven't taken to any new one yet.

Apart from cycling and rowing I've been watching the badminton when I can, I have been playing on Tuesday nights for abt 6 months now and I can see what I have been doing wrong (ie almost everything)

Imagine though for a second that your chosen sport was not cycling but something like triple jumping - how thrilling can it be? You'd have to be doing something else wouldn't you?
