[quote="huw williams"]Shall we schedule you training group Johnnies for a start at 10.00 (very civilised) via the direct route? That should put you in the Caf at Brighton in plenty of time for a 12.30 lunch

2 1/2 hours from CSS - enough time to go via Eastbourne

Put me in the 17's. Did think about the Tunnell slip stream - but I don't know - something is telling me that it's just not the right thing to do!!!!

Delayed until after the 12 as I wasn't sure what state I'd be in. Don't seem too bad so I should be up for this, probably go in an 18s and treat my legs with the bit of respect they've deserved.

Sorry for the late entry Tim.
 been on hols and just got back home.

Calling all ACCers, Tim was getting alot of interest from sub 15 riders to do the Brighton run and asked me to post a request on here.

Is there anyboby out there willing to take a slow; newbies and not so fast riders to the Sea-side?

For those wondering what sustenance to take on the ride:

I can recommend the Dickinson & Morris as being possibly the finest exemplar of the pie-makers' art.

Nice and red Sylv, looks like I'm wearing Cofidis legwarmers :D .

Good work Dombo, glad to see you take your preparation seriously.

A generously packed pie, from Wolverhampton, which was rated highly by our tasters for its moist and tender meat. Its creators will even personalise your pie with a message.

I wonder of we could get a batch made with the Addiscombe roundal on them?

This Walker's fluted pork pie is packed with flavour and coated in a golden crust. Baked in a bespoke oven, it certainly ranks highly among the supermarket offerings.

A pork pie specific oven, now that's dedication Roy Castle would be proud of.

And don't think this wonderous food has limited applications...

Yes. Graham and I will be going on a J4F ride to Brighton and back. I think Amy will be with us, and I know Michelle also wants to come.
Because we will be slower, we plan to meet at CSS at 7:45 for an 8 am getaway.
All welcome. :D :D
