Looking for LBP test guinea pigs?

Postby Robh » Tue Aug 19, 2008 1:06 pm

Anyone who owns a power meter/watts trainer and wants a Lactate Balance Point test please drop me an pvt message as I'm looking to gain more practice and knowlege on this phsiological assessment test.

The cost of the test is @ a special rate of £30 for now.

So far I've tested a work colleague, Rob C and next week Paul Tunnel. Also have anyone ACC memeber confirmed.

Rob C's results are here :- viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7574

Once I've done a few more tests and purchased a ergo power trainer I can test people who don't own a power meter.

Thanks Rob

As a foot note to the above, anyone considering being coached in the near future or considering taking up racing next season would be highly advised to get this done

It will make Huw's life easier and over time he will be able to compare LBP tests to see if your training is going in the right direction or not with your training and aslo spot weaknesses you may have..

Yes about you but didn't know about Keith, that's good news though...The guinea pigs are so that I can plenty of practice before I start testing Huw's clients...

Keith rides a 54cm Specialized? Doesn't he? Same size as my Specialized which has a Powertap so he could use my bike for the test to get Watts data...

You're right about his bike, he is on a 10 speed don't know if that makes a difference.

I am on a Pony and Trek (Madone 5.9 - 10 speed) don't know how you can incorporate that in to your requirement for power tap.

Keith has just sent me a PM. He can ride my bike....

Ask Huw nicley if you can borrow his wireless powertap...
