i'm hoping to be there, but might have to get the train. do you know how far it would be to ride from brighton station?

if i am thinking of the right park - i used to cycle past it every day on the way out to the university- i reckon it would be no more than a 10-15 minute ride

go out the fronf of the station, and sneak back down the road that goes steeply under to the left (trafalgar st i think it's called). it's one way and you'll be going the opposite way to the traffic...

then at the bottom, cross straight over the main road, and join the other main road (a27) the other side of the church.

go left, and follow it out of town towards lewes

keep going...

then immediately after you go under a railway bridge (the only one), you'll see a pak start on the left. wild park is around there somewhere.

anyway, hope i've remember the right park!

Thinking about going to this race on Sunday, depending on weather and more importantly what my other half has to say about it! Anyway have never entered an xc race before, do I need a one day licence? Is it a league and do I need to register? can I enter with an MTB?

excellent!

it's a league but you can enter without licence, it will cost you £3 more though so £13 in total.

and yes you can enter a mtb - just put on your thinnest tires available especially if it's wet! (that'll be ok if you still have those thin hutchinsons, hopefully no pinch flats this time ;-)

see you there.
