Only Steve Davies and myself riding on the Holmwood course on Sat p.m.

It turned into a hot and sultry day with a sharpish headwind on the outward leg. I find this course really slow at the moment with the new road surface just after the start, making it feel like your riding thru glue or something.

Another cracking ride by Steve with 22.56, headwind or glue doesn`t seem to bother him.

A disappointing 26.12 for me (same old crap).

Only a couple of races left for me, where has the summer gone.

Where's summer gone? That was it you were enjoying on Saturday. If enough of us ride over that bit of road enough times we might smooth it out. I've got a few runs over it myself coming up in the next few weeks, but I don't think I'm heavy enough to do much road improvement to it I'm afraid.
