That car park at the top of Reigate hill is a funny one. No one on the motor way would ever know it was there, especially at night. It is however very popular with 'dog walkers' or more specifically 'dog walkers without dogs'
Maybe he was just looking for badgers?
Having driven up from Germany, he was just too tired to reach his scheduled overnight stop - the Reigate Travelodge, a further gruelling half-mile away - and did what any responsible motorist would do - pull over into a doggers' lay-by instead.
