Oh balls.

I am racing at Chertsey that morning.

I was looking forward to laying the ghost of 'falling off whilst looking at other riders' from last year at Hillingdon.

Oh, well, will have to wait till next year.

Just out of interest, you would have put me in the B group, right?

And oi...
On the format - It's usually two races - one for fast blokes and one for not so fast blokes.

...watch it! There are not just blokes who race in this club dontcha know.

Maybe Chloe would be interested, Tamar??? and Bridget...what about Suzie Marmite Lady from last week.
Not enough for a women's race but enough to make it not just blokes.

Chloe, do you have a bike sorted yet? If not and you want to race in this then I could lend you my commuting one if it is a suitable size (don't worry I'd take the rack off first :D ).

I'm a statuesque 5'6" and it's a 52cm top tube.

Statuesque:
- Suggestive of a statue, as in proportion, grace, or dignity; stately.

Also:
Adj. 1. statuesque - of size and dignity suggestive of a statue
stately
tall - great in vertical dimension; high in stature; "tall people"; "tall buildings"; "tall trees"; "tall ships"
2. statuesque - suggestive of a statue
Junoesque
shapely - having a well-proportioned and pleasing shape; "a slim waist and shapely legs"

Not so much number 1 I grant you but who could argue with "having a well-proportioned and pleasing shape; a slim waist and shapely legs".
11:00am and will be 8 laps, finishing at approximately 12:00

Thats a bit short for a road race - I wouldnt have warmed up in that time.

You can solve that problem by riding the club run before you get there Paul :D

ooh count me in. Cat 4, very little racing experience, that puts me firmly in the newbies, non fast group club riders, women and Inexperienced 4th Cats group I believe.

Ah just spotted the non fast group club riders, looks like its the 16's for me this saturday. :D

(and no funny comments about me being a woman)

I think if you've done more than two training group rides your race will be starting at 11am. If your endeavours in the LBL ride are anything to go by Anthony you'll be with the big boys. Isn't a shame both Paul and I happened to be on that ride when you were showing us your impressive threshold power

Ah Mr Toks, well I do dive in the training group but get unceremoniously dumped every time Ive tried, only been with them 3 times as well, the B training group dropped me last week. :D

The LBL was a fluke, I'd taken my superman tablets that morning along with 3 shredded wheat and my ready brek.
