Everyone who has ever raced has been dropped, if it happens don't worry about.

My first ever race was last years ACC race @ hillingdon-went with the fast group, got dropped after five (5) laps, gpt caught by the group behind, got dropped by them-finished alone to jeers & cat-calls followed by the traditional tarring & feathering & the long, cold walk home from hillingdon


Again; if it happens you'll live-call it a learning experienence.

Besides the course is flat as a a pancake. I don't think for a moment you'll be dropped.

Can you put me down for this as well please. If I race this this means this year I will have done my first ever Time Trial, first ever go on a cycle track (HH), and first ever road race. The only first I won't be getting is place, regardless of the group I am in. Are people cycling down from CSS, if so what time do we need to leave at ?

I can see my lame attempts at getting into the B race are just falling apart like a badly sewn pair of Y fronts on a fat yank.

Can I race in both, I need the training plus it takes me about an hour to warm up.

Hey Carole go for it, I will probably be at Chertsey doing a race for REAL points not just out of date Go bars. It should be great fun and the circuit is a good'un, pretty flat and quiet roads.

Pretty peeved I am missing this really, would like both points AND out of date bars.
