We were in a pace line doing through and off and I was behind her (anyone know her name?) and she went through so hard that I couldn't get past to do my turn

Now that's a cracking excuse, Mr T   .

Sorry there is a danger of this becoming a double-entendre overload.

Couldn't, or didn't want to....

To be fair, there wasn't a huge incentive.....

Had a nice ride in this morning after a week off the bike . Saw Mike I on the approach to Stockwell and we exchanged some pleasantries as we got caught at every set of red lights !!.

I was late for work as I had failed to set my alarm correctly so was annoyed more than I usually am by the constant flow of red light jumpers. One in particular on a sit up and beg who kept sailing through  .

Anyway as I pulled up for yet another red at Borough he went through again although this time as he tried to avoid the traffic his chain came off got caught up and down he went .

Was it wrong of me to think to myself "serves you bloody well right " as the light went green and I rode past him :?:

Had a pretty tough commute yesterday headwind all the way, I took all the country lanes which were a little more hilly than I was expecting.
Left at 8am and had to be at work by 1pm, realised I had't quite left myself enough time to get to work,I had to get my head down and crack on.
Didn't pass many other cyclists but got chased through Bordon and Oakhanger by a sherman tank
Got to work in Southampton 15 mins late with some good mileage on the clock

Too right....happened to me going to Eastway - RLJ all the way - riding about 5mph slower than me but catching up and sailing past each time. Just wanted to push him off as I rode past

Did the Agisko woman have blond hair or dark? I have raced with Rohan (dark hair) and she's pretty quick but no quicker than me. Emma Patterson (very tall and blond) won the Regionals in May, she has scary thighs, proper track cyclist legs, a real sprinter. I've also raced (and beaten) Melissa Wadhams - slim relatively young, blonde hair. Don't know any others. And the picture on their website doesn't help me at all. Don't recognise any of them.

I think that team pic on the website is an old one - the only AGV rider I've seen riding round here is Emma

Well, back on thread, this morning's commute. Fantastic - the Cats came home early due to the showers so I got out by 7.15. Rode between the raindrops as far as Epsom racecourse but then the drizzle started as I was going up the climb to Headley. This wasn't rain, this was one of those dull, grey, wet blankets that gets slowly draped over you and everything else. Box Hill was deserted, silent and eerie but somehow pleasantly peaceful and quite enjoyable. Then the wind picked up and announced some proper rain by the time I got to Kingswood, and the Chipstead valley was a blind, headlong thrash into a wall of water trying to avoid school-run mum's with pushchairs and 4x4s.
Soaked and freezing but breakfast number two brought me round

If this carries on I might start walking directly to work again!

Breakfast number 1 was a Cinamom and rasin bagel/bananna and honey - 270cal

Thats 560 cals of breakfast - Ride used up almost 1400cals (water in bottle/no food)

Thats 800 calories I'm owed!!!

Managed to out-retro Mike I on this morning's commute, as my fixie's older than his fixie. And I feel it is my duty to report that he wasn't wearing white socks. Tut tut.
