As long as you give RP a swerve at the weekends, its fine. 3 laps is enough for me. 20mins warmup to get there. 1hr at threshold and 20min warmdown to get home. Job done.

The weekends are swamped with all kinds of muppets-most of them want to ran you down.

I usually go anti clockwise unless i want to do something specific.

Actually I went there with Ramon Labiaga once - remember Ramon?

Anyway he rode into a badger and killed it. 'Whump' it went, stone dead! I'm not going back there, wildlife don't forget sh1t like that!

I done RP a few times, would be great without the cars, I stopped due to the 20mph limit as it might not be enforced much but I'm a law-abiding citizen normally so didn't feel comfortable doing it. I've ried Regents park but too flat and too many lights etc I'll stick to the sydemham hill/dulwich route (4 lefts turns and a few lights but per circuit (10- 11 minutes) I would guess you get stopped max).

Anyway Andrew how can you call RP boring when you do TTs??

Poor old Richmond Park - it came in for a right old shoeing there

If you live close to RP, or go past there on the way to work (as I do) and are time-poor (as I am) it can't be beat. The road surface is good, there's hardly any traffic (relatively speaking), it has a couple of useful hills - what more do you want? During the week, at least, it's muppet-free - and I've never seen a jogger/runner go anywhere near the main road. Has to be much more fun than a turbo.

So I'm with Toks on this one, Mr An extra lap before work and maybe a couple after work - then make like the shepherd.

OK - so picking on the Dynamo is a bit of laugh. Big club, frequented by a a bunch of jumped-up, City toss*rs who don't stop at red lights, etc. etc. However, ACC needs to be aware of its own image too! It would not be hard for the Dynamo to have a little dig at ACC's expense regarding our Saturday run to Charlwood. Just change a few of Andrew's words:

OK so I'm not "in with the kids" or have I just led a shelthered life?, but "wots"... trying to be a bit "street there" RLJing? Anyway London Dynamo seem more like a name than a proper club.
