Yes. People have been trying to cash in (and doing so) on fixed wheel chic for a while. Old steel track frames from the 60s-80s that are worth about £50 have been going on ebay for well over £100-£150 on a regular basis. If it had track ends some idiot was happy to stump up between 3 and 4 times the actual value of the frame.
