Actually, I don't think you realise that Ian had a problem with his legs as a child which is why they are so thin, he feels pretty sensitive about them and I'm sure that you wouldn't wish to embarrass him further.

thanks pete, it is an issue, but as demonstrated with recent documentaries on channel 4 one has learned to accept that one will be prejudiced in this age of 'physical perfection'
