[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]How well will he do I wonder? TdF in 2009?

Contador will be un-beatable with Armstrong as his lieutenant.

Although he will undoubtedly win races in his own right.

Will be good to see him suffer in the tour...

They just announced it on Radio FiveLive too as a breaking news item during the tennis...

Cheers

So will he, won't he?

Will he enjoy the "benefits" of no out of competition tests since retiring?

Won't he look stupid if he gets caught this time?

Excellent news if true as I am a huge fan :D . Le Tour has been dull without Big Tex.

Subdued!?

Enter Carlos Sastre and the most impressive ride up Alpe'd'Huez for years... And he probably even did it clean!

Fair enough! But exactly!! I rest my case!!

Pro Cycling has never been this good, apart from a rocky 2006/7 as the Armstrong hangover cleared... we now have a very exciting future. Not to mention the wealth of British talent on show these days.

[quote="marco"]i dont think big migs kidneys will take any more, he's rumured to be not in the best of health

what's the lowdown on big mig? he was dominating around the time i started getting into the tour.

guess you're implying he was another survitaminé rider (as they were fond of saying in L'Equipe a while back).

My money's on Armstrong carefully orchestrating for positive PR, playing nice, acting as super-domestique, going for a stage win on the anniversary of 10/02 (?) or something, but ultimately playing patron handing over the reins to Contador or whoever. He doesn't really need to win, and you can bet he will be clean as the driven snow; there will be nothing to find and doubters won't be listened to after that.
