Hopefully just marketing garbage to flog his latest trinket. Can't stand the man and think any return to cycling he did would be to its detriment.

[quote="-Adam-"][quote="Dombo"]Excellent news if true as I am a huge fan :D . Le Tour has been dull without Big Tex.

Er, sorry, what Tour's have you been watching?

Le Tour Eiffel in Paris. Really dull since they closed the Taco Bell, selling the Big Tex with Cheese.

Mr  sort of beat me to it, but this about flogging a load more Treks to the Fanboys, isn't it?

I'm saying nothing about the socks, mind, Look what happened last time  . Started a fight about the merits of (allegedly) Balkan hosiery.

In which case I would think you would mean 'La' Tour Eiffel, unless your talking about doing mulitiple walks around the great iron beast?

Oh woopee  . I can hardly contain my indifference. A return with all the syle and grace of George Foreman's no doubt. Prepare yourself for the new LA clothing/bike range to hit a store near you soon.
[quote]"We're going to be completely transparent and open with the press," Armstrong said. "So there is a nice element here where I can come with a completely comprehensive program and there will be no way to cheat."

Didn't need to bother with that sort of thing before...

No money is mentioned, I presume that as he is already rich and is only doing this for cancer awareness that he won't take any form of salary so that all that money (and the endorsement cash) can go to the cancer charity too.

I'm surprised that he is coming back, but I think its amazing. It will however bring the hole drugs thing back into the forefront which I think is bad....

He's not the sort to come back and loose !!

Wil he race for Astana?

I will be interested to see what happens with the ASO and letting him ride the Tour. Remember the 'it's not about Astana it's against me and Johan" I will also be interested to see how many legal battles there will be if the ASO try to block him riding the Tour!!

I personally would like to see him in Rock Racing  Yee ha!!!

After reading the articles, I got the impression that he will be forming his own team..

[quote="marco"]I agree with you Dombo I think Rock Racing would be the ideal place for him!

That was Dominic's post, not mine Marco; I think where Mr Armstrong is concerned you and I will rarely agree.

On a separate matter, I'm no lawyer but given this forum is open to the world to read, and given that LA regularly trawls the net to monitor references to himself (google your own names to see the obscure places you get mentioned), I wouldn't want my subs to end up defending our club against a libel suit. Moderator please note.

David Millar was asked yesterday what he thought about the return of the Black-socked One. His reaction was along the lines of "Let's hope he uses any return for the good of cycling."

Anyone know what he meant by that?
