Hill Climb - 4th Oct

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

[quote]Leith Hill - 11.00am Saturday 4 October - John Bornhoft Memorial Hill Climb

Ridden up Leith Hill before? How quick can you go? This is your chance to race up the South-East's biggest hill.

GH/42 course: approximately 1600m long, start on the southern ascent on Abinger Road to finish at the top of Leith Hill Road. Surrey League members who have raced on the Ewhurst course will be familiar with the route. The winner takes the John Bornhoft Trophy. Cash prizes too.

Entries to Ian Beston, 38 Hedgerley Court, Woking, Surrey, GU21 3LY with a cheque for £6.50 made payable to "Kingston Wheelers CC" by 23 September on CTT entry forms.

Promoted under CTT rules and regulations.

You could make a weekend of it and ride the Wigmore CC Hill Climb on the 5th. See separate Topic for details.
