My ever dependable Michelin Pro Race2's have finally given up the ghost so i need a new pair of tyres that are good enough to race on, but tough enough not to puncture at the first sign of the grit and gravel that seems ever present this time of year.
Was really pleased with the Pro Race2's, must have done around 4000m on them in all sorts of foul weather and never punctured, although from others anecdotal evidence i don't think they're usually this tough. Current thoughts are whether to go for a normal race tyre again (Pro Race3's & Schwalbe ultrmo's have got good reviews and both apparently reasonably puncture proof) or something less quick but more durable such as the Conti 4seasons..
Anyone have any recommendations for quick dependable winter tyres? (good grip in the wet is a must)
