Thanks to Jon, Phil, Tim, Joyce and the marshals.

What happened Dominic? President's 10 champ for the last 2 years and not even on the podium  . Bloody road racers eh.

I thought with Adam's good form of late and me being off 2 minutes ahead of him that I'd be a handy carrot for him. Proved to be right as he caught me with half a mile to go. Good ride.

Small course PB for me but went out a touch too hard as I suffered on a couple of the drags on the way back so the pace wasn't as even as it could be. Saw plenty going the other way on my way out as they headed for home, but Chris S was my minute man and going well so only saw him as I approached the turn. Spotted the unfortunate Ian walking down the DC on my way out so chucked my can of sealant at him as I caught up with him. Bad news was his split tub was too bad for it to fix it, good news I didn't puncture and miss it :D . Broom wagon went out to collect him though.

Top stuff from Marco riding it on a BMX, Mike for being uber-retro (kit, bike the lot) and George swanning about the car park afterwards in a DJ. :P

I'm sure my Dad will mention the handicap result from time to time  .

Good morning's fun, and then popped down to GBs in the afternoon to find the natives had got restless in the night. All taped up and road closed by the Police. Stabbing, death, murder, all the usual Croydon night activities. I was allowed through on the path and GBs said that the street had been shut off all morning so they'd been very quiet, some had helped time pass though by going out for interviews with the TV.

Pretty good handicapping there, right down the field, I thought ... :)
Every year I say it's my last-ever TT. See you next year, I s'pose.

My annual homage to the dark side over, I now know the feeling of coming 4th! But was pleased to have competed and seemingly made some progress. Thanks all for the organisation and I enjoyed the solo ride home from the cafe and final coffee in Coulsdon which I cadged from Nick due to forgetting my cash.

Well done Adam, not far from George on a normal road bike with just tt bars, and Stu a good time too

Marco's time is pretty good all things considered

Thanks everyone for a great day.
Thanks Jon for the organisation, the push-off and the weather.
Thanks Joyce, Phil and Tim for the timekeeping.
Thanks to the marshall at the turn. Sorry, didn't recognise you as I could only see a red mist at the time.
Great to meet so many folks doing a club TT.
It was a nice outing for son and grandson too.
Daniel says thank you for the chocolate cake Tim.
Pleased with a course PB by 34 seconds.
Still hate that bl**dy course.

Yes Alan, Dave did get a few good ones. he showed them to me briefly when I got home.
I know there was a good one of Bridget.
I will contact him tomorrow and see if I can get hold of them.

Georges time included a 15 second late start, so his true time was 21:57.

Good rides by everyone.

Very pleased to see Adam and Stuart's rides, their times are as they should be given the level that they race :D

Got a bit carried away at the start thinking(wrongly of course) that the way back would be as fast as the way out

Thank you to Jon, Joyce, Tim and all else who helped out on Saturday.

Quite pleased with my time, apparently 100 miles the day before is just the ticket. Which followed by a fast 10 and a nice 1hr warm down is just the ticket for a decent performance in an Elite RR, guess you learn something new every day huh!

Well done to everyone, especially the PBs. Nice to see a fat bloke on a BMX go fast too...
