Santa's early, he was disguised as a postman and just delivered this!

Ooo err (these aren't mine, and they came sans chainrings).

Whilst he was here, i gave him the rest of my wishlist, which includes a few items to get my mtb under 9kg, as an incentive to have a serious shot at racing next year ...

No it will be fine. Not much change from now really, hardtail with v-brakes (and gears!). I just need a cassette, chain, bar ends and pedals. I'll post a spec sheet if you want ;-)

I guess team have sponsors and therefore have to have certain bits on them - like heavy Fox forks, etc. Where'd you find the info on their bikes Dom?

They were staying in Boomerang 2 at the same time as us in the Summer. Had a go on one of their full sussers (whichare for sale) and it was horrid, like a big flexy thingy, hardtail was better but wasnt less than 20lbs.

Well they werent exactly used too hard. A couple of days we saw them ride UP Mont Chery then get the Chairlift back down............

After we got back (we didnt exactly ingraciate ourselves with the XC team) I found out my Uncle is mates with their manager who had had a right moan about a bunch of w*nkers staying in the hotel

Hee hee. Did the xc guys have any beer at all?

I would have thought that the bikes would have seen a season's worth of training no? Ah right, these guys do all of their training on the road ...

Maybe one beer, and only salad to eat. And of course they wore way too much Lycra (probably not the thing to write on here)

Only got a new ACC top, and have worn it under wetsuit when swimming (tri) etc and rod cycling and it seemed fine to me. Santini I think.

And to be honest you being slight of build can 'just' carry off the lycra look, its just when you see some larger built riders they end up looking more like Daffyd from little Britain, than Lance!!

I am hoping that Santa Claus in going to bring me a
"Super Invinceable Addiscombe Cycling kit"
This should enable me to bounce, skip and fall from my Bike no matter what hits me and be OK.
P.S. I would also like my wonderful wife in my Christmas Stockings as mine are old and I may get to wear a new pair.
