[quote="Sean Hogan - 何祥"]Age is not an issue neither. It can also strike you going solo or when in a group! :(

In a group is always the worst.. The embarrassment is unbearable. It happened to Dan twice within an hour last weekend

My wife's always complaining about my technique with the pump but in this case i'm pretty sure I handled it with acumen. It's the tubes that's faulty not my technique - honest. I've bought 10 contis for just under £20. Job done.

Thanks

Jon :D

[quote="Daniel Gee"]I have heard that the more you cycle the more likely it is to become an issue

This is indeed a fact. I did a 70 mile ride today, all was well till my misses noticed that and I quote 'the one that sticks out between the two long things at the front looks a bit soft'. Bemused I asked her to show me and low and behold she was right, it really was soft. I asked her to try pumping it to see if went hard but that failed.

This left me no alternative but to strip off the rubber, pull out the soft offending article and put it into a bowl of cold water. This seemed to have the opposite effect to which I had hoped for and it just proceeded to go even softer. It was then I noticed a small hole which was leaking, 'quick' I said, 'pass me a patch to stop it leaking'. 'Will it be safe to make it go hard again and put it back in' asked Mrs Loony. 'Only one way to find out love' I replied. Having put the soft thing back in the rubber I can confirm after much huffing and puffing from Mrs Loony its now hard again and is ready for another good hard ride.

The longer the stroke, the less strokes you need to get it up!

Storage can then become a problem :?

[quote="mrP(Boonen)VT"]Michelins all round as they have the smooth valves that are easier on the rubber seal in the pump.
Guru p

Decathlon are suspiciously similar and extremely cheap
