That was convenient of Tyler to have his 36th bike change just in front of you. I kept an eye out for an Addiscombe jersey when I watched this on TV as I knew you were there, but when I saw the weather I guessed it was probably covered up by half a dozen layers :D .

A really grotty day, but it does make for nice shots of the headlights shining through from behind the riders - good and moody.

It was pretty wet, that horrible dense drizzle. The foggy photo was at the top of the kom at about 10am. I was resplendant in yellow lycra just in case I made it onto the telly, but the bit I was on ended up on the cutting room floor which is a shame, not because I was hoping my brief appearance would be a springboard to a lucretive tv career, but because its a nasty 20% climb just after the decent of the Mile Hill kom.
