so if MrPT is needing our BC licences does this mean the race is being held under BC rules? If so then only 3rd cat and above are normally required to wear club colours, and even this is not always enforced at Palace for example, so people should be mainly able to wear what they want, afterall seeing as we'll all be from ACC any reason for enforcing club jerseys (p.s. I don't have acc shorts anyway - too long in the leg for me) seems a mote point. My ACC jersey clashes horribly with my fave shorts by the way, whereas I have a nice top from a bike shop in the US that goes really well with it and my shoes (although Adam did say a while ago that the colour scheme was so last year (red, black, white). Naturally my helmet clashes with everything (Blue and white).

It is under BC rules and I am the commissaire 8)

True, 4th cats do not have to wear club colours (TR 8.1.9) apart from white socks (TR 8.1.10ag), but this an ACC promotion for ACC members - don't you think you should make an effort on this one occasion :?:

Kieran with a wife and two children how can you possibly have so much time to think about colour clashes, favourite tops etc. I'm tempted to ask a little more about the ACC shorts issue but we may be getting in to 'scary' territory. Oh and please get a new cycling Helmet for next year. If I get dispatched early doors from the E12's next year at Palace after a few hard laps i'll begin shouting abuse at you if you don't. There's - some lovely yellow/white and black one's in Decathlon. I can't remember the brand but they look good and they're only £35

blimey, and I thought the UCI and ASO had problems!! Surely as long as you're clothed to some extent you can race!! Isn't the racing bit what's important!? :)

Hey good luck to everyone for Saturday, and stay safe. If there's something I would have loved almost as much as to race, it's to be there to take photos. Make sure you get lots of snaps. And don't forget to thank Toks (amongst others).

Toks - there no worse critic than your children for pointing out fashion mistakes (and bad dancing) but my helmet is new and they only had it in blue, got it cause very light, cheap and safe, all after much research. The thing with the ACC shorts is like some of the sleeves on the jerseys, a bit long. Anyway I'm sure you might remember my short shorts I used last year, or maybe you'd rather not!

Huw, have you spoken to Joyce about giving her a lift down - she isn't getting on the Forum at the moment so may not be aware of the arrangements. I'll call her on Friday morning.

Has anyone told Renate at the Pine Cafe that the number of punters is likely to be down again like last Saturday?

I'm torn between helping at the RR, and the clubrun, as there probably won't be many VCs at Coulsdon...
