Any rides this weekend?

Postby Dougie » Thu Sep 25, 2008 2:45 pm

Hi, I'm new so forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place .

Looking to get involved in cycling, have been training fairly regularly on my own though and had wondered if there was a club ride at all this weekend as unfortunately I had to work at the last minute last Saturday forcing me to miss the ride.

I'm 18 with no experience in road racing or anything like that but am looking to hopefully be ready to compete next season as im a former rugby player and am fit.

Any replies or advice would be greatly appreciated . Cheers Dougie

I can vouch for this lot, I came along first time scared that they'd spit me out the back and leave me pedalling lost around the back roads of Surrey... but they just made me feel dead welcome! They're a friendly lot!! ;-))
