The forecast I saw was for a 30mph tail wind from the west - if this is true :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

You'll remember how terrible the MIlitary Road along the coast was with the wind in the other direction?

We could conceivably be at the lunch stop by 10.35 if this proves correct :D

I just went out to check it. It's not there. That usually means it's windy.

[quote="Andrew G"]Can you get your seaweed out Mike, the weather forecast I've seen doesn't look too spiffing for Saturday - pack your longs and waterproofs  .

I'm taking my bike.....I may end up joining the non riding sight see-ers mind you....

Is there any bike storage at the Bugle? Is car parking a problem?

They let us keep them inside last year Ian. Paul and I didn't have them in the room but just down the corridor in a little nook. Don't know exactly where everyone else had theirs but pretty sure they were all safe and sound indoors. Just don't lock it to a certain other persons if he's going  .

Car parking not a problem, their car park is about the same size as Yarmouth square - room for a couple  .

I shall be sleeping with mine and leaving the wife in the corridor.

I may padlock her to Mr  's bike for her security

I've checked the roll call for this trip and it seems there are a number of non-cyclists  coming along.

Time for a quick reminder of how to behave then ...

Unfortunately came off bike last night and so won't be able to make the trip. I have already paid for ferry and its non refundable. Friday 9.00pm return Sunday 9.30am. Lymington to yarmouth. If anyone wants to use it they are more than welcome. I can email the confirmation.

Got knocked off by a car on Rectory Drive in Tooting. I've damaged my shoulder but not sure how bad, back to hospital on Tuesday. No idea about the bike as I haven't seen it yet.

Sorry to hear that Chris,

I hope you get on the mend as soon as possible.
Was it going up or down rectory Drive. I have noticed that going down the drivers who pull out from your left always have a look of indecision etched on thier faces. Could be a bit blind on that turning plus not being able to judge a bikes speed given most dont bother slowing down for the humps. Still no excuse for lack of caution.
Going up is always a bit of a race with mr white van man. :?
