It's back on, well at least this week (Oct 11) and next week (Oct 18).
After talking to Alex at the cafe last week it looks like there is growing interest in this ride. So for the next two weeks I'll lead the same ride. I'm away for a few weekends in November so hopefully someone else can remember the route by then.
The only question then is when do people want to start, 8.30 or 9.00. Depending on who turns up and the weather the ride can take anything between 2 and 3 hours. Starting at 8.30 almost garauntees that we get to the cafe before everyone starts moving on.
The paths are a mixture of bridleways and quiet roads and are mostly easy if a little bumpy in one ot two places. Any bike will do but a mountain bike would be the most comfortable. Bear in mind that the return from the cafe will be by road. This is more a leisure ride than a training level ride and the intention is that everybody who starts gets to the cafe. (There are many bail-out point to roads though for any last minute changes of mind).
Just to get an idea of numbers please post if you intend to come with a preferred time.
