are eggs good or bad for you?
i like eating them hard boiled
im currently doing 15 hours a week training, which will increase.r eggs affecting me, or will they help?

Eggs rock for protein as well. Good recovery can be had in a salade nicoise.

I do like 'em hard-boiled, but I've got a great recipe for a souffle omelette with or without mushroom sauce. It rawks.

E-mail me and I'll transcribe the recipe for you if you'd like.

Rob, why don't you gey in contact with the 'fit-for' dieticion who's details i got from Ibbo. I'm planing on meeting up with him at some point to get a program written.

Only 15hrs Rob..... you've gotta do more than that if you want to get out of THIRD cat :D

yep brett only 15 hours...yet im shedding weight with johns help, so no need to go to a dieticion.

hows life? any races planned yet?

funny that. only the other day i looked at the composition of eggs for the first time (it's on the boxes) and realized they have more than 10% fat.

most of that is in the yolk though, so you can always have the white only, raw, "à la rocky balboa".

i find they're a handy way to get proteins, when you don't eat meat that often.

I think it"s fine to ask "health care proffesionals " for advice on diet etc.But do check qualifications.Dieticians have to be registered, but pretty much anyone can call themselves a nutritionist.

Hey Rob,

Good that you're losing weight, soon I may even need to watch your wheel in a race!!

Trainings going well, no races planned just yet. Averaging 25+ hrs a week so i've not any top end at the mo.

New team (Agiskoviner.com) kit hasn't arrived yet, team bikes on the way from Italy as we speak. My Colnago will have to wait another year for a race :(

Does that mean you will be riding around on a lovely new Viner. I ride a Viner and I think it is great, sure you won't be disappointed in it.

Yep, new Viner team bike . I'm hoping it is better than the Tiffosi CK5 team bike I rode last year, it was pants!!!

25hrs a week isn't that hard when you're single & have no life! Get up at 6.30am ride for 1.5hrs, go to work, finish at 17.30, train for 3.5/4hrs, dinner, bed. Around 12hrs over the weekend.

[color=blue]Recipe:-[/color]

[color=blue]4 Eggs=Beaten
1 Medium onion=Chopped
1/2 Green/Red Pepper= Sliced
1 or 2 Small tins of tuna=drained
Grated cheese (optional)[/color]

Place all ingredients (mixed together) in to a pre-heated large non-stick Frying pan/Wok cook on hob until base goes firm then place under a hot grill (cold ones don't cook it so well :D ) to finish off the top. A great accompliment to Tuna pasta Bake [color=red]"Maxine(Wife) Style"[/color] . Recipe to follow soon....

And you can also sprinkle cheese on the top or to give it a bit of a kick add [color=red]Cayenne Pepper[/color].......

I like to call it [color=red]Nick's Special egg meal [/color]but you may know it as an [color=red]omlette[/color] :D :D
