Sorry to hear about the LONG WAK HOME... :( ..but at least you'll be more prepared in future :) , couldn't you have phoned someone to pick you up as I know I would have tried almost everybody I knew. Anyway see you at the club house WEDNESDAY for more of the same of last week still LMOA evey now and then.....CTW??

Does this mean youve got your wheels sorted out? Gator skins are pretty good but its worth going over them with a pair of tweezers as the rubber's good and grippy but soft so flint can work its way in to the inner tube.

Having done a similar walk home, in the rain, from the Colonnades to near the Mayday, in Look cleats, I recommend cleat covers, aka cafe covers, which protect both your skins and hardwood floors from wear.

I know GB's have them - summat like £5.

Of course you lose that pivoting/skidding ability. Every rose has its thorn.
