Great that George gets a win too this year and thoroughly deserved. Well done to George. Hope everyone else enjoyed themselves too / gets better quickly.

Mark - as I'm sure you are aware, loads of cyclists have experience of broken collarbones. My advice is to take a look at your own x-rays too (if you can!). Most breaks are left to get better on their own (and this is a sensible approach), although IMO Some NHS hospitals can be a bit reticent to operate on them when you would benefit from it. If you think your shoulder is too squashed or the bones look too far out of alignment, definitely get a second opinion. If you're happy with the alignment, then I'm sure George can send you the details of the famous Dr. Laser.....

On-side diagnostic was for dislocation rather than break.

Strood is in a school playing field Sylvain. Not sure if you've been there before. It was used for round 1 last season and the previous year was only used for SE champs.

Terrain's fairly fast (if dry). Depending on what they decide they might take you through some single track through the trees (rather like at Herne Hill).

Shouldn't be as energy sapping as yesterday - might be a quagmire though if we did get alot of rain before then.

By the way, who do I contact about results ? Mine is wrong. I was a couple of minutes behind Susan Wood, (2nd lady) and finished with a group of Crawley guys and ahead of a GS Avanti guy. Were they not counting laps. I also have the achy legs to prove it !!

Absolute class Georgey :D You've experienced winning before I just can't believe you didn't want some more of it given your Road Race heroics from last year.
