Go and see a physio about 1 week after the event to get your head straightened out ( ), it's worth the £30, believe me, even on a studen grant.

My turn tonight. I got hit by a bus. Long story but basically said bus tried to over take me in a gap that was only wide enough for the bus and not me. The bus scraped by elbow and I had to lean into the bus to avoid going under its wheels. I stopped the bus...got the usual 'didn't see you'. Explained that he must have seen me as I'd been sat directly in front of him in a bright green luminous reflective jacket at the traffic lights we'd pulled away from 30 seconds before.

Anyway I got all his details and went to the police as the bus made contact with me and grazed my elbow. Police took a statement and are going to speak to the driver and then hopefully procede with a charge of driving without due care and attention.

I've never ever been so scared so much in all my life, I honestly thought I was going to go under the wheels and that would be it, game over. I really hope they do this prick for this and he gets the sack. It's a good job I was strong enough to keep myself up right using the bus, had it been a kid it would have been a far worse outcome.

Glad you're okay. I find buses the worst on the commute. They used to be the best driven vehicles on the road but over the last few years the standards have really dropped.
