Keith - glad you are OK. The scary thing is that the lady driving the Corsa probably is genuinely enraged at your riding even though she was clearly 100% to blame!

Too many emotional retards who have never learnt that they have responsibilities as well as rights seem to infest this country! Never had any discipline in their lives!!! I'm about to start ranting now...........

Glad you're okay Keith, the lady who hit you sounds a rather cultured individual.

Keith, maybe you blinded her with your neon vest. In all seriousness, the way that you dress on a bike how could she not have seen you, your always the most visible rider whenever we are out. I think you should make a claim so that you can get your bike sorted as its bound to have some dodgy bits after an accident.

Hope you feel ok today, bet your a bit stiff.

Cheers

Marek.....

Hi Keith

Glad you were well enough to come and see the test last night.

There is alot to be said for the odd indoor turbo session, one thing, it's safe!

You might be safer being a cyclist than a reporter

Had a very scary few moments of my own today. Took up primary position to turn right off Borough High Street onto Gt Dover Street, when a C10 bus who was also turning right undertook to come alongside me, and reoccupied the whole right-turn lane as he did so. This meant I had nowhere to go but into the path of oncoming traffic. Both the bus and the oncoming traffic - who had to take evasive action - missed me by a whisker.

We (the bus and I) had to stop at the lights before turning right. As I went to remonstrate with him, pointing out that I was entitled to turn right there too and that he shouldn't just force me out of the way, he just looked straight ahead and motioned that he couldn't hear. Tw*t.

Unlike with Ant's incident, he didn't make contact with me, but this was dangerous driving nonetheless. People saw it - one motorcyclist said to me after the bus had gone past 'F*ck me, that was close' - but I didn't get any witnesses. Is there any point going to the police? I can't help thinking that if I write to the bus garage, I'll just get a standard letter back apologising 'for any inconvenience caused. The matter will be taken up with the driver concerned. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, etc, etc'.

While we're on the subject - how are you getting on with your complaint, Ant?
