Brilliant! I didn't know about the cycling specific report :) Unfortunately the bottom line is the same!

The met office website (http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/ ... ather.html) is a bit more optimistic: no rain in the morning, but the wind is still gusting at 25+ mph from the north!!
