Postby Marky Mark » Wed Oct 29, 2008 4:45 pm

Hi all.

Saturday 17th January 2008

Can I just comfim that this is the date for the Xmas dinner at Selsdon Park Hotel.
I was asked during the club run if we were having one.
I said I would put a new post up.

Is it for couples and do we have to put names down? If I remember right, it was £30.00.

Could someone in the know please post some detials on here so we can get as many people booked in as possible.

Cheers

Indeed it is the 17th January at the Selsdon Park Hotel and will be the 80th Dinner! You're welcome to bring partners, for some non-spockety talk as Amy would say  . Tickets will be on sale soon through all the previous good retailers. Ticket design and production in the hands of a local professional (some dodgy bloke with a capri :) ).

Watch out for the speed bumps on the drive on your way home, they ambush you if you're not alert  .

Pray-tell Sir. Is this going to lead up to you telling us that you got rangooned and fell in a bush on a previous dinner?

Watch out for Mr Beer  - his vertical and horizontal is likely to go t!ts up, especially when he's had the "regular" dozen
Shall we change the title to Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation to keep the pedants happy?

To be particularly pedantic, the title currently reads "Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation Dinner". Unless anyone's really hungry, there should only be one Dinner.

... anyone know what's meant by 'official channels' ?

And we were going to stay over to save the lift back to Brighton but looks like they have no availability that night. Is it 'cos we've held the rooms too? Sounds like Addiscombe really know how to party
