I'm sure you could do 150rpm for 1 min, for a while I was doing high rpm training but decided to put off till later in the year. Anyway in a relatively short time I got above 200rpm for a second a few times and then 150rpm seems ok. Given your small gears on your single speed MTB you should be able to do it.

Wonder if the 62t ring would clear the chainstay without fiddling chainline?
Agree M road is not best idea, prob best to keep it "legal"
But I don't know a fast safe stretch of A road nearby
