chaps this is shocking.... how poor of the police.
I have been very lucky then, as the lady who hit me took full responsibility and the insurance company just paid out with no quibbles,
I’m sorry to say it but… being a girl helps…. (Apologies to feminist across the land)
Also they are improving the visibility on that corner where she pulled out from... result.. (i should be in one of those adverts! haa haa )
[quote="Grahame"]Is it time we thought about a letter to the chief constable or the IPCC?
Yes we do need to write to the chief constable and to the TFL ‘better off on your bike’ campaign, maybe even the DVLA, and they can add more emphasizes to the tests about cyclists awarenessIts not helping anyone to just moan on this forum… I’m a big letter writer,
I wrote a nice letter to national express a few weeks ago as one of their buses on a Saturday cut really close to me on the a23…… and they wrote back, telling me the driver was located, given a disciplinary/telling off and sent on a driver awareness course… and they also enclosed a voucher..
Maybe we should get Huw to run some cycle defenses lessons in Addition to the Go-Ride cycling skills sessions
