That story beggars belief. Haringey social services are as guilty as the parents of this poor child as they failed him in their duty to protect him. A needless and tragic death due to some major neglect on the part of social services, all the warning signs were there as clear as day. You have to question why wasn't action taken earlier and the poor child taken into safe care.

What makes me sick about cases like this is if you replace baby P with a labrador puppy the puppy would have suvived because it would have been taken away long before it would have suffered at the hands of these so called 'parents' as they'd have been charged with cruelty to animals and banned from keeping pets.

This story has made me both extremely angry but upset at the same time. God rest the poor little mite and may the parents rot in hell.
