Just to let you know there'll be a cyclo cross skills session at Penshurst in the morning before the Addiscombe promotion.
Anyone who wants to learn abit about what to do can show up at PORC at 11am as Emma Wood (the cyclo cross coach) will be running the training session.
She welcomes newbies to cyclo cross - especially women. Maybe one for Ms Heritage and a few of the guys. I'll be there as well. Anyway, the details are as shown below (and on the LCS website).
Note, mtb's are welcome - you are welcome to attend the session without having to race afterwards - but you never know, you might quickly catch the bug.
Are you unsure of getting round corners? Worried about those muddy descents ? Well, this could be the session for you.
On 23rd November there's a cyclo-cross skills session at Penshurst Off Road Cycling Centre.
Coach Emma Wood will take you around the cyclo-cross trails and show you how to ride them. You will also learn how to mount and re-mount your bike, cyclo-cross riding etiquette, and other skills.
The session is aimed at newbies to cyclo-cross, and women in particular. Mountain bikes are most welcome
Meet at 11am in the car park.
