I've been looking around the interweb contraption at Carbon Fibre cutting.

One thing really sticks out, it's a health and safety no-no. Whatever you do, don't inhale the dust. It won't like you!!!!

Good tip is to use a hoover, might as well do the stairs while your at it :roll:

I think there was a review of a carbon fibre hacksaw in Cycling Weekly this week. It was about £30 I think. It sounds like the ones with no teeth.

p.s. It should be pretty bliming easy to do if you ask me. Just make sure you don't cut off too much. I don't think it matters if it is not a straight cut to be honest.

Angle grinder.
Takes about 30 seconds.
Don't even have to sand it afterwards.
Just put a bit of tape round as a guide.

I used a pipe cutter thingy to mark a line rond the tube to ensure a straight cut, then a fine tooth hacksaw, and some emery cloth to finish the job without any problems.

(Took my Felt to pearsons though :wink: )
