The scenery there is a sight to be seen, takes a brave heart to ride this one.

Well done to George, Aoden, Carole and Maria for a great ride, that did not look easy at all.

It was great to watch. I'll wait to post my view of the race, i had a great marshalling spot, a nice bermed 180 deg on the bottom of a hill- spills a plenty- and 1 ACC rider with absolutely no contact with the bike- yes thats arms legs 'n @rse and they still got round! -secret hedge lurking as well.

Aint no marshalling involved at all, just a serious muddy crash fest!

Well as the weatherman promised it was going to be a very wintery day and it certainly was!!! The M25 outer lane was slush and there were cars dotted along the hard shoulder that had had bumps, then to cap it all the A21 9the main route to Penshurst) was closed due to an accident - doh...

PORC is a great place and everytime that I go something else has changed and it is certainly popular with the riders and spectators (and kids). I was thinking that we would have a poor turnout due to the weather but loads of people braved it and we had as many as any other year.

You can see the mud, and this was only at the beginning of the race before it was really churned up.

The weather might have been sh1t before, but the race was blessed with sun from start to finish.

Great pics fellas and looks like another classic PORC day. A fantastic place to watch the racing and a great day out. Was supposed to be there but been laid low today so had to miss out.

Well done to the muddy folk, you seem to have found that you like playing about in the mud Carole .

Who do I talk to about results ? They are not correct I'm afraid. I was fifth woman, behind Sarah Sutton and David Steele, and Aodan didn't finished behind me !

The course was perfectly rideable on Saturday when I helped to set it up. Sunday was a completely different story. The mud made for loads of spills and was such a hard slog !!
Managed to stay upright the majority of the time once I'd gotten over a couple of tumbles around that dodgy tree, but then lost it again on the last lap and had a very close enounter with a bush ! Me and my bike were in the lap of the Gods on those corners where Ian was standing. It was definitely crash city !
