I'm racing with Roger Hammond

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

As he's got no points in the London league, presumably he'll not get gridded and will have to start at the back

On my pics of the start you can see Chris Ansell (yellow/black Corridori kit, Specialized bik) starting towards the back (far left of the field obviously not too bothered about getting a good start). By the end of the first lap he had caught the two leaders, and after the second was already at the front with a good lead.

On another note, Jody Crawforth, Evans' best rider who they say will be riding that Cross with Hammond, just finished a round of the World Cup in Belgium ... 4 laps behind

Jody wasn't feeling too good and on the continent they pull you out as soon as you are lapped and you finish X laps down by the time the leaders have finished.

BTW - for style, there are not many better than Roger to watch as he glides around a cross course.

I thought that looked a bit bad.

So, if you are lapped with four laps to go and get pulled out, that counts as "four laps down"?

George,
Would the magic bus be going via Horsham by any chance?
