I know it says "Big MTB ride", but will this be suitable for cyclo-cross bikes?

Is it 10am meeting at Peaslake - by the cheese straw shop :D ?

I'm not sure how to get there by car as I've only ever been through it either on a "hilly 50" ride or after Barry, can someone give me a pointer (or postcode/road for google) please.

I have room for 1 or 2 in my car (depending on which car I take), I'd suggest that we meet somewhere in Croydon to sort out the logistics on Sunday morning.

How about 9am at Sylv's?

dr stupid here

I'm tempted - but a couple a things not clear to me.

Can someone pls put up specific meeting places and times?

Also - this is an all dayer yes? is there a lunch stop (pub or soemthing) or is it byo.

I'm riding hi pressure skinnies at the mo - take it I should switch back to knobblies for this?

Also - I use flat pedals and wear trainers. Maybe an upgrade to toe straps?

Sorry for the dumb qs (am I eck) - answers appreciated

Can fill some gaps for ya.

Fit your knobblies back on.
All dayer. Take a couple of bars to snack on but there are grub grabbing places on the way.
Flats no problem and don't have to fit straps. Might find it easier without if you need to bail.

Sylv will mention a meeting place soon, time I'm guessing is around 10 actually there or 9 in croydon to drive out.

Flat pedals and trainers are fine. Just might get a bit muddy.

Skinny slick tyres would be fun for half an hour but then a drag because you will slip on stuff you wouldn't even notice on knobblies, and knobbly will be more comfortable in the long run.

All dayer (but the days are short), relaxed pace with lunch stop at shop or similar. Bear in mind it'll be dark around 4 so will defo be finished by then.

Hey folks, sorry i haven't been able to post today

Yes meet at Peaslake at 10am, I can't find a postcode or the exact name of the road where the car park is- does someone have it?

Basically when you go past the shop below (postocde GU59RL) at the entrance of the village (coming from Dorking) turn right (but then straight and not right again into the small road) and go up the hill past the pub on your right, keep going for a bit up until you get to a big car park on the left. If you want to meet and convoy from mine let me know

I don't piggin believe it.

I've given Mrs Snoop the day orf on Satdee so I can go ridin Sunday. Just home from work and I now find out that Mrs Snoop is taking Granmaw Snoop in law shopping on Sunday. So I'm looking after Keira - again. Now don't get me wrong, I love my daughter, but hey, I was really looking forward to this. So - what should I do:

a) throw a big hissy fit?
b) accept that hey that's life
c) milk it fer all it's worth
d) I dunno - you tell me

Fck it
