Gotta say I'm particularly uninspired by both Shimano and Campagnolo right now... If only I had the cash for SRAM...

Both seem to have hit a point where they can't think of anything to do but feel they have to come up with a "new concept" each year. End result, the current crop of groupsets are probably the least inspiring either company has produced in a long time.

They had to reinvent the wheel for their levers and yes it is a cool solution, but there was a problem that needed solving anyway? They have introdcued one piece cassettes to save weight, yet this for the non-pro seems a wasteful solution as a casette change means replacing the whole unit.

Who replaces one sprockett at a time? So a one piece cassette is good. Red is the lightest overall too I believe.
But more to the point, it just looks the best compared to all the others!!
